White Wine Sauvignon Vert IAQIUN Dolan – Goriška Brda, Slovenia

Vintage: 2018 – 2020.
Volume: 750 ml.
Grape variety: Sauvignon Vert.

Vinification: Short maceration 2-3 hours in contact with skins and seeds in a stainless steel container. Gentle compression with a pneumatic press. Wine is fermented with the grapes yeast. Natural maturing in barrique oak barrels for 10 months. Ageing potential: 2022 – 2029.

Characteristics: The wine has a gentle and lively golden yellow color. Ripe, warm, well-formed bouquet. The aromas of herbs, acacia and yellow fruits are distinctly felt. Dry, strong and dense full-bodied taste with mild but mobile acids. The finish is calmer, with a light mineral and woody flavour.

Food pairings: Pairs well with grilled chicken or fish, also good with salads. Serving temperature: 10 – 12°C.
