Description

The winegrower: Sveti Martin.
Region: Vipava Valley, Slovenia.
Alc.: 12,5 % vol.
Sweetness: Dry.
Vintage: 2020 – 2022.
Volume: 750 ml.
Grape variety: Zelen.
Harvest: Hand Picking.

Vinification:
Maceration takes place for 2 days in contact with the skins in a stainless steel container. Fermentation on yeast for about 20 days. Gentle compression with a pneumatic press. Maturation 12 months in oak barrels.

Ageing potential: 2019 – 2022.

Characteristics:
Medium intense, straw with greenish hues. Flavour is typical, intense. Floral and herbal aromas predominate, with fruit aromas (peach) perceptible in the background.
Taste is pleasant, harmonious, unobtrusive. The body is relatively full, but the wine looks fresh due to its minerality. The aftertaste is relatively long, clean, elegant.

Food pairings:
White meat, all kinds of fish, seafood, pasta, vegetable plates. To serve at 10 – 12° C.
