Vinification:
Maceration takes place for 12 days in contact with the skins in a stainless steel container. Gentle compression with a pneumatic press. Maturation 24 months in oak barrels and 6 months in bottles. The wine is unfiltered. Ageing potential: 2020 – 2030.
Characteristics:
A soft and deep garnet color, still fresh and ready to become more intense. The bouquet is ripe, smells of underbrush and smoke. Distinct aromas of cherries, plums and prune with hints of wild herbs and oak. The wine is very fine and elegant, medium-bodied with high acidity and slow-developing tannins. It is easy and pleasant to drink. The finish is short and delicate.
Food pairings:
The wine goes well with stews with vegetables and other rich and warming dishes, preferably not very spicy. Serving temperature: 16 – 18°C.
