Vinification: Maceration takes place for 14 days in contact with the skins in a stainless steel container. Gentle compression with a pneumatic press. Maturation 36 months in oak barrels and 6 months in bottles. The wine is unfiltered. Ageing potential: 2020 – 2030.
Characteristics: The wine is bright ruby, lively and rich in color. The aroma is quite ripe, red currants, black currants and cherries stand out clearly. In the background, subtle shades of wood and chocolate are felt. In the mouth, the wine is dry, full-bodied, with a slight astringency, by which you will immediately recognize the Kras region. Acids are lively and mobile. The tannins are already developed and the wine is very well balanced. Long and smooth fruity finish.
Food pairings: Any dishes with red meat are perfect for this Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is also good on its own or with medium-ripe cheeses. Serving temperature: 16-18° C.
