White Wine Bric Malvasia – Vipava Valley, Slovenia.

Vinification:
Maceration takes place for 6 days in contact with the skins in a stainless steel container. Maturation 6 months in oak barrels.

Characteristics:
The wine is a deep dark gold color. The bouquet is intense and mature, we can find some pine needles, balsamic notes, honey and a little nutty flavour. The wine is almost orange, but only almost. In the mouth the wine is very dry and bold, with the pleasant oily texture and a bit subdued flower character. The finish is quite short with a distinct and fresh aftertaste. 

Food pairings: Good match with mutton, grilled fish, steak.
