Description

Orange Wine Rebula Sveti Martin – Vipava Valley, Slovenia.

Vinification:
Maceration takes place for 14 days in contact with the skins in a stainless steel container. Fermentation on yeast for about 20 days. Gentle compression with a pneumatic press. Maturation 36 months in oak barrels. Unfiltered.
Ageing potential: 2019 – 2024.

Characteristics:
Deep straw colour. Full-bodied orange wine, balanced with a hint of honey, apple and apricot. The aftertaste is long and intense.

Food pairings:
Grilled or smoked fish, white meat stew, risotto with seafood or mushroom. To serve at 10 – 12° C.
