Red Wine Virus-3 Sosolič – Goriska Brda, Slovenia.
Maceration takes place for 10 days in contact with the skins in a stainless steel container without the addition of selected yeasts. Gentle compression with a pneumatic press. Maturation: 24 – 26 months in oak barrels. Maturation in the bottle: at least 1 month.
Ageing potential: 2018 – 2025.
Crimson red with ruby red shades. Smooth fruity aroma with vanilla and blackberry shades. Full-bodied, well-balanced acids and tannins. Intense but soft aftertaste.
Good for meat dishes or prosciutto. To serve at 14 – 16° C.
