Production Technology:
Rose Batič combines Cabernet Sauvignon with a pinch of Cabernet Franc. Thirty years ago, The Batič Family started producing Batič Rose from these two grape varieties. From then until today, this tradition has become the rule. Cultivation of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc is entirely ecologically biodynamic (Demeter). Harvesting takes place at full maturity, on days when the moon's influences are favourable for grape picking.
Rose ferments with its own yeasts in stainless steel containers. Rose's aftertaste is vital - a reflection of the biodynamic cultivation of the vineyards, the low yield per hectare and the great love that the winemaker has dedicated to these varieties.

The wine is an intense rose color and clean as a morning dew. Slightly sweeter. First we are surprised by the pure fruity aromas of raspberries, cherries and wild strawberries, in the background we can also notice the nuances of yellow fruit. Due to its rich body, fruitiness and touch of the young moon, the wine works pleasantly and harmoniously in the mouth. It is as intoxicating as youth. Fine freshness is present in the longer aftertaste. Taste unforgettable, like first love.

Food pairings:
We can offer it to various culinary specialties. Rose Batič perfectly accompanies the entire range of fish dishes. It also goes well with meat and vegetable plates. It is a great introductory companion, as a nice substitute for sparkling wine. Rose Batič is a wine that connects the entire culinary palette. It can replace white wine and is an excellent accompaniment to lighter raw dishes (tuna carpaccio, octopus in salad), on the other hand, the rich structure of wine and freshness of wine offer excellent accompaniment with pasta, risottos, white and red meat, fish, shellfish…
